GI:
There are things we are unlikely to change, no matter how much we despise them. Pre-order bonuses aren’t going anywhere. Season passes with unspecified content are a growing trend. In-app transactions in full-priced games make too much money to abandon.
The question then becomes one of nuance, and it becomes our job to discern whether they are being implemented in consumer-friendly ways. By all accounts, Metal Gear Solid V’s forward operating base (FOB) feature is perched on a knife-edge.
Whether it's showcasing damage realistically or simulating fractures and conditions, these games are worth checking out.
The Metal Gear series has sold 60.2 million copies, as of September 2023.
...and yet, they couldn't give more respect and effort into the collection.
What a terrible company.
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is another rollercoaster of a game in the Metal Gear Solid series. Here's what to expect and why you need to experience it.
Amazing how bad this game looks already. We keep acting like this gen doesn't feel like an update but I think we're starting to see it.
The game started really strong in that hospital, but after a couple of hours I wondered if it was even an mgs game I was playing.
A region cost 1200 MB coins and for 15.95$, you get 1150 MB coins.
Thats just saying you have to buy two packs to get it.

**** You Konami for ruining the game!
I want to punch the idiot who made Microtransactions available in AAA 60$ games.
Obviously its god damn EA!
**** YOU EA!
This isn't walking a fine edge. This is making this mode almost impossible to play and compete without spending a ton of money. Assuming most don't pay, they will be in even playing field. But a select few will dominate everyone they attack.
Total BS, these aren't even "micro" transactions, these are as high as 85% of the total game value!!
It's amazing how Konami managed to sneak something this horrible into this masterpiece of a game.
I don't get why people get mad. It's not like you can't progress in the game if you don't buy anything. They are not forcing you to buy anything. They wouldn't put microtransactions in games if people didn't buy them. The injustice would be if you couldn't play the game past a certain point if you didn't buy something and that's just not the case.
This will only become more common until we stop buying these games.
