wow! i thought this only happens in the middle east!

Neixus3164d ago (Edited 3164d ago )

lol, what an ignorant thing to say.

It happens here in Norway aswell, not from retailers though, but if i order a game online from a website., it always arrives atleast 5 days before release.

vicheous3164d ago

Amen to that, got my copy of Mad Max today from Gamezone.no :D

Mikefizzled3164d ago

Nope. I got Resident Evil 6 a full week before it came out. Also completed Mass Effect 3 before it was released too. Shopto.Net used to be great for breaking street dates.

I remember buying the original Quake at a market stall here in the UK when I was young around a month before it released over here. It was the official game in the retail box on CD. Only paid £10-15 for it as well. One of the best gaming bargains I've ever had. Have absolutely no idea how they got the game that early because I actually think it was more than a month before its release date, no one had even heard of it. Used to get everyone around to network up their PC's to play multiplayer before online & DRM became I thing.

The main reason why I love Simplygames, their prices aren't the cheapest but you are guaranteed to get it a day early at the very least.

Don't forget it's a bank holiday this coming Monday in the UK so if they didn't dispatch them early we may have gotten them late.

Bennibop3164d ago

I got my copy yesterday from Simply Games was shocked to receive it so early.

TLG19913164d ago

as soon as i saw someone yesterday on here and on twitter got theres and ordered from simply games i ordered from there as well and i got a "shipped" email half hour or so later. fingers crossed it will be at home when i get in from work.

I am so torn between getting it from here (to get it early) or get it from ShopTo and get the epic steelbook!!

Now we'll have to see how much the Master Collection will add to those numbers.

Number1TailzFan175d ago

Too bad it was a lazy release. They could've updated the visuals and everything. Missed opportunity.

Stanjara175d ago

...and yet, they couldn't give more respect and effort into the collection.
What a terrible company.

Minute Man 721175d ago (Edited 175d ago )

Are they counting every game?

Edit: they did

Nyxus175d ago

Yes, these are total lifetime sales of the entire series.

ApocalypseShadow175d ago

.... mostly with the help of PlayStation.

Yea I don’t get why they’re allowing old reviews to be posted here. Someone did one on Soul Reaver and I got so excited thinking there was some stealth release of an HD Remaster, but no… it’s just someone who had a slow day posted an old review…

Cacabunga191d ago

I liked the game but for me it felt somehow like a military simulator rather than a proper MGS.. i got bored of that

micdagoat19191d ago

I do wish they would remaster all the soul reavers

micdagoat19191d ago

it was done this morning though

goldwyncq191d ago

The author was in a coma for 9 years and didn't get to play the game when it released.

Chocoburger191d ago

This review arrived just in time for launch. Perfect timing!

RupeeHoarder191d ago

Amazing how bad this game looks already. We keep acting like this gen doesn't feel like an update but I think we're starting to see it.

YourMommySpoils191d ago

Looks better than Starfield, Cyberpunk and most recent games out. Still fine.

RupeeHoarder191d ago

It most certainly does not lol.

andy85191d ago

Have you player Cyberpunk since the first day? It's absolutely stunning now

One of the worst games ever made. Absolute overhyped trash!

Snowb420191d ago

The gameplay was great. It was the tacked on open world and repetitive missions that messed the game up.

Shane Kim191d ago

The game started really strong in that hospital, but after a couple of hours I wondered if it was even an mgs game I was playing.

KyRo190d ago

The hospital section was the only bit that felt like a MGS game.

MGS4 was the ending for me. I totally ignore the fact 5 exists. It didn't need to exist tbh
