Blimey, those original prices make for some depressing reading lol.

jackanderson19853299d ago

if you think they're depressing, the instore prices for physical for some stores in ireland are higher... that's truely depressing

bloop3299d ago

Sure tis a great little country we live in, bar being rode up the hole for everything.

Just a heads up lads, I've a Hong Kong account on my Irish PS4. Easy to set up an account, all the games are in English,it accepts Visa debit and most importantly it's way way cheaper. Once you download games, you can play them with your original PSN account.

PSN Plus for 12 months works out at around 25-30 euro, and the deals are great. Just bought Dragon Age Inquisition Deluxe edition for 21 quid, FIFA 15 was the same price.

Disappointing sale. The Lego games have been MUCH cheaper in the USA sales. Marvel Lego has been as low as 5-8$, yet EU asks for 24€.

Defense Grid 2 is a game I was looking forward to pre-launch (cause I love the original), but it was released at a ridiculous price (25 euro), and now it's 'on sale' at 10 euro, while that should have been the original price to begin with, plus it's currently only about 5€ on XBO in THEIR sale...(!)

I'm with Jony_Dols on this one: other PSN-stores offer way better deals and much more value for your bucks.

Please put europe in the title.
the "EU" in the link doesn't show until you click on the n4g article

70 euro for games here is ridiculous. That's why I trade in games a lot.

Playstation Plus prices generally suck...which makes no sense cause a lot of the games that are old, and obviously digital, are still $60. You can get better deals on Amazon.

Killzone:sf is $29.00 on psn, $13.00 at game stop.

Lego marvel.... original price.... £54.99 good grief!..... they need to adjust their prices, not just add sales lol.

magiciandude3298d ago

£54.99? Wow, the game is $19.99 on our PS Store and it was on sale for $5 somewhat recently.

eldingo3299d ago

the discounts on ps4 suck compared to the ps3 discounts way to help justify buying a ps4 guys i am totally not disappointed.

Lionalliance3299d ago

Can you really put "Europe Only" in the title next time?

Majors3299d ago (Edited 3299d ago )

does the "blog.eu.playstation.com not give it away ?

Lionalliance3299d ago

No, cause i can't see it in the front page.

Sgt_Slaughter3299d ago

Thank you... nothing more annoying than seeing a deal article pop up but it's only for Europe.

And some of the sites don't have .eu in the url, so you don't know until you're already there.

Exoil3298d ago

I know. I hate when I see a deal and click on it just to see it's for the US. Sure, a brief annoyance but still something that would be very easy to fix.

Sgt_Slaughter3298d ago

When the site is primarily U.S. in terms of sites and users, that's the point I'm trying to make.

jony_dols3297d ago

Primarily US? This is an English language gaming news site not a US only site; plenty of British, Canadian, Irish, Australian, South African, New Zealanders on here, alongside users from continental Europe, India ect.

Some of the best gaming publications and sites are non-US; Eurogamer, Edge, NowGamer, VG247 ect ect. And ironically enough so is N4G, founded in Olso, Norway back in 2006.
