Thanks for the gesture Sony but I have no use for this code. Can't even use them on pre-orders. This is BS. You can use it on a digital copy of a game like GTA V but it's still $54 when I can get a new physical copy for around $45.
I think the problem with this 'compensation' is that there is so many caveats to the offer it looks apparent that Sony will not be out of pocket at all for this but rather get increased revenue, and profits, from digital sales during what is normally a quiet time for gaming. Not to mention that, at least in my country, most digital content is much more expensive than boxed games. If preorders and PS+ subscriptions had been included then it would have been a genuine attempt to compensate people instead of the cynical offer it is.
