Sony is offering refunds to anyone who recently purchased online zombie game H1Z1.
The refund follows revelations that, contrary to statements from SOE in the days and weeks leading up to the launch of the game on Steam Early Access, microtransactions would be offered for items like guns and ammo.

it doesn‘t actually speak for human intelligence when such products can be a thing. if everybody used their brain such products would have never made their way to the mainstream. people get what they begged for. and i can‘t for the life of it get such mindsets.
Why do people even pay for an early access of a game that's going to be F2P?
As for P2W, the question is what would actually be P2W? You can sell people any kind of items, if they suck at playing they suck. Buying money in GTA V isn't pay to win it's a shortcut to get what you want quicker.
I'm not defending SOE or Microtransactions in general. On one hand I don't like them, but on the other hand I can understand why people pay for stuff like weapons.
When I was a teenager and also when I was in my 20s I had a crap load of free time. That's not the case anymore so now I'm getting punished in games for not having as much free time as others to unlock weapons. I wouldn't pay for Microtransactions but I can see why others would. Games should go back to the old system and drop progression systems like in BF4, GTA 5, etc. where it takes ages to unlock better things.
Wait I thought I read something that said there would be micro transactions? Like I read it on the steam page when they were talking about "why do an early access." I don't see the big deal here? Because it was pay-to-win? What REALLY constitutes pay to win? Can you even "win" in this game? Idk. My brothers and friends are enjoying it, they said it's a better polished dayz
what a dissapointment, i used to talk about it everyday to alot of opeople, the game is so boring, so small, the graphics are aweful, no loot, everything is even clunkier than day z, no key bindings, the zombies suck, no life in the map, aww man what a terrible 20 bucks spent, worst survival horror game ever lol
i know its early access, but come on man, lol
i am actually having tons a fun with this game, they patched nearly everything including P2W. graphics needs an upgrade tho but it's the alpha i am not too worried.
I have not read so much whining on from news gaming sites in a while. Sometimes I think the people writing for those sites are the entitled gamers they whine about themselves, sigh.
