There's always one! This has been explained multiple times over. Desperation comes from being behind and trying to spur sales/interest. This is why it's seen as desperate on MS' behalf. They're playing from behind and trying whatever they can to "catch up". Not that it really matters though in the grand scheme of things. That's just the definition of desperate. Also it's not Sony doing it, as was pointed out too
