I hope Kojima listens to the fans( like that reddit thing) and fixes some of the games issues.

generic-user-name3671d ago

What issues? The only issues I've heard people complain about are the length of GZ and Phantom Pain will fix that.

KingKelloggTheWH3671d ago

Alot of people are complaining about things such as the lack of wall knocking, the rolling glitches ( and messed up mechanic parts) the lack of a health system as it takes away they survival aspects of MG,the enemy tagging and slowmo being op, stiff aiming, and a bunch of other minor things. It was interesting reading these things people thought needed improvement.

ALARM-clock3671d ago

The only problem I came across is getting locked into the iDroid in real time as it loads network assets. It happens a lot and has gotten me spotted and nearly killed a few times.

Oschino19073671d ago (Edited 3671d ago )

You mean the enemy tagging and reflex mode that can be turned off at the start of the game... might as well pretend you are forced to use auto aim as well.

Love when people want to take accessibility away from a game simply because they don't approve of it even though you aren't forced to use those things and they never will.

It's more minor things or aspects not present in GZ as it's of limited scope compared to what TPP will offer. As usual more vocal complainers and whiners on forums compared to those who are satisfied.

I am sure the game will be amazing and have options for most everyone to enjoy. Always will be those who have to find somthing to be unsatisfied with and let everyone know about it.

God I'm not looking forward to another 18+ hour sitdown for the next MGS....

Who am I kidding ofc I am

Of course you'll also have to replay the entire series in chronological order before The Phantom Pain releases.

Unless you're just a filthy casual that is. :P

KingKelloggTheWH3671d ago

Sounds like a pretty good plan.Though Peace walker will be a pain...those bosses

DEEBO3671d ago

Naw the gameplay has improve alot the fan's wanted more gameplay.

This one's going to be the best out of the series,if he has multiple bases the size of ground zero's,gamers are in for a treat.
One thing about games is the waiting for the release date sucks.

loving the open world games,the crew,the division,gta5,dark souls 2,watchdogs,infamous ,dead rising 3,the witcher 3,RIME,batmanAK.

Nice list of good games coming out.

generic-user-name3671d ago

Yeah, Afghanistan alone looks like it'll be huge and that's just one area.

And yeah, open world games are in demand right now, I'm looking forward to the next game that brings that genre forward. At first I thought it would be Watch Dogs thanks to how intelligent the AI seemed to be back when it was revealed and the way you could almost interact with everyone in some way.

Not so sure about Watch Dogs now though, maybe The Division will be the one to do it.

Ground Zeroes is awesome, worth the £20 for sure. Spent ages doing all the extra bits which are as good as the main story mission.

Is that Ishmael character they're on about in the article not Miller after he gets burned in the helicopter?

generic-user-name3670d ago

I agree, it's awesome and with lots to see and do.

But no, Ishmael definitely isn't Miller, they have different voice actors and we saw Miller after the crash on the hospital table as they're trying to revive Snake (in trailers), he avoided burns to his face.

Such a good game to me. Crazy how different peoples opinions can get.

Crows9038m ago(Edited 37m ago)

For me it wasn't that surprising. There was some bad press before. There's also the matter and element of a person's disposition when trying out a certain game. Sometimes you're just not really into the type of game that you're playing so you put it down because you don't like it. Not necessarily because it's a bad game but because you're just not up for something like this. Reviewers have a tough because no matter what they feel like playing they've got to play what's releasing.

I have many times gone back to games that I put down only to thoroughly enjoy them the second time around because either there wasn't another exciting game coming out around the same time or I just had no other games to play and haven't played that type of game in a while. I'm not the type of person that can just play a souls game through all this iterations one after the other without getting burnt out on the formula.

In my opinion this game was great from the start. Some bugs here and there but nothing worse than the most AAA releases during the same time after and before. All I did was wait one week and I had a phenomenal time with the game. No other zombie survival game comes close to how I thoroughly enjoyed this one

Leeroyw39m ago

Second act of that game far surpassed the first. Which is why people felt it didn't live up to the hype of the trailers. Personally I loved it. But it was a slog to get your bike and weapons up to skill.

Inverno20m ago

Was gonna post a brick wall of text but I'll keep it short. Pardon my French but f**k the media for the hate they gave this game. If you have a PC to play it on you can get it as low as 10 bucks, and if you have a PS then it's a no brainer. Totally worth a play.

phatak2m ago

I don't even comment here often but had to for this game, I still stand by my opinion that this was one of the top 10 games of the ps4 generation, I preferred days gone over god of war, horizon and last of us 2, the launch version was definitely piss poor and that messed up the reviews for this game, honestly some games deserve a re-review or post patch review as the metacritic score stays forever but the reality is its not even the same game anymore, the ps5 patch is amazing and the pc version which I play on nowadays is one of the best looking games ever, complete shame that we wont get a sequel, god of war got one, horizon got one, last of us got one, spider man got one, this game wont get one, sucks to be honest.

Ps3/360 era had some hidden underated games for me it was shadows of the damned, alice madness returns that deserved more sales and a sequel/ higher scores, and similarly for the ps4 era it was days gone, and dying light 1 that deserved much more love, dying light atleast got a sequel, everyone needs to play this game once and judge for themselves, for me its officially the most underrated game of the ps4 era, go play it if you haven't !
