Horizon: Zero Dawn's Lead Writer Was Blown Away by the Fresh Concept, Says Narrative Will Delight

I have the same feeling when I first laid eyes on this game.
It was so fresh and compelling.
I know it when I see it.
One of the greatest game of all time in the making.
This game is gonna be very special.

Its a very good mix of old and new.

"The Witcher's vast open world gameplay experience" Lol I think only a 3 or 4 developers from WIther 3 are on board and they are recent hires, this game has been in development since 2011 soooo I'd assume they already had a lot of that world and concept down pat before those 3 devs came on board and I don't even think they are even in charge of that.

I keep hearing folks say that its seriously the funniest thing about gamers and assumed game development.

ie x developer from blank series, thus the game will be like said series lol

The developers from Witcher 3 were from the cinematic directing, the questing and techical director.

The actually hired zero level designers from WItcher 3.

I get you are excited for Horizon as am I, but at least show some respect to the team making it as they hired those folks February of 2015, the game started development in 2011. Witcher 3's vast world was not made by 3 people that have nothing to do with actual level design, its infact even a disrespect to even CDPR to just assume making a world like Witcher 3 is merely down to 3 folks....

Both teams have huge staff, 3 developers don't suddenly turn the game from 1 thing to another.

GG has made something very impressive, BEFORE those developers were hired. Also, Fallout's writer doesn't mean Horizon will have an open world narrative like Fallout, I mean....at least look at what that writer has actually written. It wasn't just Fallout.

I'm really looking forward to playing this game and seeing the story unfold. The world looks beautiful to boot. I've never played a game by GG before as I'm not in to FPS, but this had me at the reveal.
