When Square Enix promised that the Hitman game would take you on a multi-continental journey, they really meant it. Across the Mediterranean Sea, trouble is brewing in the city of Marrakesh, Morocco. Agent 47 is tasked to prevent a military coup and defend the interests of corporations that invested in the country. This is the first time Hitman has forayed into the realm of political assassination, and I’m inclined to say that they have done a decent job of balancing difficulty with realism.
HITMAN, another game hit by the Reboot bug, after what many consider a low point in its Career with Absolution HITMAN looks to go back to its roots with its newest release. Developed by IO Interactive and published under Square Enix, HITMAN switches from the full game release style to the more coveted style of Episodic releases with the first episode in March, second in April and so forth till the end of the year for 7 episodes in total.
The third episode of the rebooted Hitman introduces yet another new map and a more serious mission for Mr 47.
TSA:
Between Hitman’s first three episodes, I’ve found Marrakesh to be perhaps the most underwhelming. Having stalked the Sanguine fashion show’s lavish Paris complex and murdered our way through the sun-scorched streets of Sapienza, Agent 47’s latest contract feels a bit drab by comparison.
