Playtonic is a developer made up of a bunch of former RARE devs, and the first title they worked on was the 3D platformer, Yooka-Laylee. Those who followed RARE over the years definitely saw the DNA of Banjo-Kazooie in Yooka-Laylee, but it turns out the original plan was even deeper than that.

Some awesome picks on this list and I'll be very surprised if Yooka and Laylee aren't featured as amiibos in the future. I fully expect that game to surprise everyone and become a new franchise. If there is one more that I could add to the list then it would be Beck from Mighty No.9. This is another title that will be huge once it drops.
