Portal 2 is brilliant.

Portal is the game that sucked me in like Bioshock.
I know it's not the same genre but the 'unknown' feeling is awwesome.

Valve did a amazing job with Portal 1 and can't wait to play Portal 2, after seeing those demo video's: It has to be brilliant.

Okay, let me start on this, I really loved Bioshock 1, that game had such a amazing atmosphere, that could only be achieved by: Irrational Games! ( Ken. Levine as 'Father')

Bioshock 2 was Okay, really it played well It looked okay, but it just wasn't really Bioshock for a 100%.

I can't really explain it but it was a feeling, after seeing this trailer I can say: Bioshock is back, because the 'real Bioshock studio' is working on it.

Okay Thank I didn't know that. (:

What I don't like about this whole thing?

It's like they are putting out DLC just to well: keep it going.
And yeah I get that but it feels like, Here buy Alan Wake, this effing epic game but later on we are going to add DLC.

I know it happens with a lot of Games, BUT these kind of Games shouldn't have DLC.
When you finish the story: Done, there you go.

It also feels like Remedy isn't 100% on board with this DLC...

Remember way back when Blizzard got the rights for Redneck Rampage?
Well I know they are working on a 'new IP' but I really hope that they are doing something with the rights for Redneck Rampage, that game was fucking brilliant.

I also seen that some of the people who worked on Redneck Rampage are now working at Blizzard for quite some time...

A man can hope..

Yeah and I wouldn't name it 'What we want' it's like if they are not giving it you will be pissed of.
I would name it 'What we would like to see'

That sounds a lot more friendlier.

I haven't even begin to think about what I want ( see what I did there?) in RD 3.

Well that's an interesting opinion.
Like I said: At the time I could have fun with that 'boring' landscape, if I revisit San Andreas now I'm a little more bored then I used to be, but after 300+ hours of San Andreas I think that's normal.

The awesome thing about the big San Andreas world is the things you could pull of.
Some people fooled around in the city and others in the desert or country side.

It was about choices. <...

True that, but when San Andreas was released people were more focussed on the size.
If they used the random events introduced by RDR it could be a really awesome game, when you have a road trip you will encounter awesome stuff.

Thanks for the comment, I describe almost the exact same feeling in my article, it's great to read other players have that feeling.

But you wouldn't believe how many people hate that 'bigger = better' I think the exact same thing so I hope for more diverse stuff.

A lot of people don't get how many games and sequels Rockstar has.
They are becoming bigger and bigger but need to spread out their releases.

Like PSfan999 states they have l.a noire, agent, max payne 3 in development and those are the games we are aware off, they can still be working on;

A new Gta.
Bully 2.
Manhunt 3
A new Midnight Club.

Yes Rockstar has a lot of studios but these are a lot of games, Red D...

Because I would love a 'World of Starcraft' I just don't like that fairytale stuff that is WoW.
Anybody remembers that Blizzard bought the awesome 'Redneck Rampage' IP? I would love to see a 'new gen' version of that.

Or maybe instead of Rock 'N Roll race we'll see 'Hip Hop Racer' Ha!

The fan forum had a same story with Grand Theft Auto IV.
A user named: DeepthroatGTA4 told everybody in encrypted messages that GTA IV was going to take place in New York even before the first trailer was online. ( remember the count down clock? )
With high detailed stories and more, he was very informative and was right about just everything.
It was a brilliant PR stunt by Rockstar and I wouldn't be surprised if this is a 'mole' as well.

You have a good point right there, but think about the God Of War collection?
On the other hand: Hack and Slash games ( Atleast what I think) don't evolve as much as open world games.

Don't get me wrong they do evolve but (basis)gameplay wise they stay the same, were open world games er evolving in a 'realistic' way.

That's so true man.

A lot of people are making jokes like: Need for Honor : Most Wanted, etc.
But I think EA has a good shot.

Modern Warfare 2 is a GOOD game, we can't argue about that, but it isn't the revolutionary game like everybody was pretending it to be.
It is Modern Warfare 1 with a new story , new features, etc, they are not doing things that are making the shooter genre unique.

It's all about marketing and names, people know the na...

Yeah looking at ODST it is indeed a DLC packed in a different way. :)
