Why should he review anything but what he has in front of him? There is no way of proving how future updates, games, improvements etc. are going to be. I think the review was good. A complete review of the system 6 months down the road will most certainly prove to be different.
@Scion
yes, it will look good depending on how close you sit to it.
This is another reason that i think people are dumb when it comes to this resolution pissing match. If you aren't within the proper range of your display you wouldn't notice any difference.
It makes me wonder how many people that bitch about games that are only available in 720p have TV's smaller than 50" and cant realistically tell the difference between 720p and 1080p. Wait and see people freak out when X1 confirms that Ghosts and Titanfall are only 720p.
No where in the article did they say that working with Xbox One was better than working with PS4 and yet the first post is the beggining of yet another pissing match.
Congrats on being a complete dipshit @Enemy
If you speak in any way close to how you type then buttons may be your only option...
I can't wait to yell at my xbox to tell my other home entertainment components what to do!
If there is a free game, I hope that its not limited to the European market.
It can't imagine them not having No Mercy's again. Seems silly to omit something that awesome.

"PS4 doesnt need a matchmaking feature like this"
Sounds exactly like a something a sonyfan would say. Similar to how they were all outraged to have to pay for an online service but now that they ARE going to have to pay its not that big of a deal. Anything the PS4/3 doesnt have is considered stupid or needless, until Sony picks up the idea, then its ok.
My launch day 360 lasted 5 years! I laughed at all of my friends who went through several over the years.
There are GIRL gamers?!?! When did this happen?
Does anyone else see the irony in all the people that are "online" bitching about a console that has to connect to the internet? Even before MS reduced it to a one-time connection.
Isn't is safe to assume that 99% of people that can offord to have either a PS4 or XB1 have an internet connection?
On a positive note, there will be little chance of ending up in an online gaming session with any of these crybabies!
The TV integrations and extra added features that the Kinect 2 and XB1 have are similar to PS3's blu-ray when it launched. The sales of the PS3 that sony fans are so quick to brag about had a great deal to do with people wanting to watch blurays than to play games. I personally know of at least a dozen people including myself that own a PS3 because of its high quality video processing and 3D capabilities. It is powerful machine that way, just not as convenient to use in comparison to the ...
@badkolo
Couldn't have said it better.
Not to mention that after 8 years of paid service MS will now be providing XB1 users with 300,000 dedicated servers. Good to see that Sony's online service is now at the same point XBOX360 was at its launch...
Who's console isnt already connected to the internet constantly anyways? This "always online" concern that people have has confused me from the beginning.
So if a game developer is trying to decide which console to make a game on why wouldnt they pick the one that forces consumers to pay a few extra bucks for a used copy? It's only a matter of time until all major developers start making exclusives for XB1 in order to maximize on their profits. MS has already talked about all of the new deals and exclusives IP's coming soon which to me only confirms this theory.
Have fun playing used games for free on the PS4 that do...
Its easy for most people to see the difference in the amount of detail in these pics when they put their face 6 inches from their monitor. Put some of these images on your screen and back up 10+ feet and see how much detail you are missing. Now imagine being 15-20 feet from your screen(average living room viewing distance). Unless you have a massive screen and you have perfect vision, the human eye will NOT see any significant difference. These arguments irritate me.
