This is huge news... Excellent. Maybe Blu-Ray movies will finally go down a bit in price. I have had to cut back my purchases.

How in the world could they call this PSN Gold? This Qore is completely optional and you CAN play online for free. Its just something extra if you want it.
If not, PSN is still free.

Aw man that sucks. I was hoping R1 and Uncharted out of all my games were patched with trophy support.
Sweet, I hope that the trophies are retro active, because I unlocked all the skill points, and beat superhuman mode.

People are just looking to bash Sony for anything they do.
They gotta find a way to drive revenue for the PSN, and rather than having ads, Qore will be a great interactive way to accomplish that goal.
It also provides you with some exclusive content, including beta access among other things.
I really think Kotaku telling people Sony will be charging for demos with Qore was a misrepresentation and confused a lot of people.
