I stopped playing at launch but i recently played it and loved it, there are no other games like it, the start is a bit dull, and stay away from voeld as long as you can until youir car is upgraded and i promise you will have a very enjoyable time. I would say that it was one of my favorite gaming experiences in my 28 or so years of gaming.

This is not true, i work as a game developer and i have multiple friends that works at DICE which i went to school with. They are still working on the game, this patch was delayed because of a bug that obviously would have been fixed if it was already developed, think.
I really enjoyed the norwegian one and the last one, the first one was meh.
Star Citizen is in its current form a more complete, less buggy game with more content than Fallout 76. For real.
You missed that Origins was very different than older games and this one is almost like an entire different series with a whole new rpg mechanic and so on. The reason it got critical and customer acclaim was not because of marketing.

Hmmm? Weird timing for this arcticle, with 1.4 being out and being universally loved by the community. Game is the best it ever have been, and it was decent enough for me and my friend to play it about 100h to complete the story and do some pve/pvp, that is worth the 30 or so usd i paid for it.

The game is in need of patching, I get higher fps on 4k ultra than 1080p high mixed with ultra settings.
So how long are the missions? are they story driven or are they like "bot" matches with a cool video? will you play them over and over? 5 warstories doesnt say anything about the quality or lengh.

Maybe they want more people than you to also enjoy the game? it isnt created just for random dudes who want to play as a buff dude with a buzzcut or a sexy girl which they pretend they play as because its seexeeh. In a roleplaying game the character creation is obviously very important. The more options the better.
