They were once my favourite company (back when they were squaresoft)...sadly i think the company might go bankrupt, since it seems incapable of making quality games.
If anything, the sales of FF13-2 being a third of FF13 and FF10-2's first week sales...should be a wakeup call

The truth is, he joined Square in late 2000/2001. Many people think he was there before.
But i think he (and Toriyama) are the reasons SE is going downhill.
He came too late to put his "intelligent ideas" into FF10 and ruin it...

SE can make steaming buffalo sh*t (FF13) look gorgeous and feel like a "must have" game, then it means they can make FFvs13 look gorgeous to. And who knows how it will turn out...

Its like FF13-3 is on the way, seeing as the ending of FF13-2 said "to be continued...". Not only that, SE bought the domains FF13-2 to FF13-9. Look it up.
FFvs13....square enix dont understand how important this game is, and what it will mean if they mess it up.
I see it as the last chance for them to redeem themselves for a company thats gone down to the levels of a sewer, and is not upto its neck in sh*t

Seriouslly Square Enix seems lost when it comes to the FF series.
And it seems fans are disenfranchised (have no say). SE say they listened to fans with FF13-2:
-By adding towns, except you cant enter any buildings
-By making it non linear, except their is only 1 open area in the game (acheytelle steepe)
-By adding secret hard boss battles like Omega weapon of past FF's, except you have to pay DLC to fight them.

What the tale series does that FF dev's can learn from is the fact that they stay true to the series, each games has what it makes it a tales game !
Wheras FF13, no so much. No world map, not many likeable characters, non strategic gameplay, mediocre story (Falcie, Lcie, Pulse Lcie and other confusing crap), unlike the FF we know of
Personally, i think FF13 has the worst unlike able characters out of all FF's..
Its no surprise, especially since its the most shitty FF (according to metacritic, discluding MMO FF's)
