If I was one of these banned Xbox people I would keep the Xbox for playing pirated single player games and buy a PS3 so I can play multiplayer games online for free.
Epic game! So much fun customizing the mechs, and for the time the graphics were amazing. Really drew you into the universe.

I don't think this is a huge disparity. Fully 1/3 (33.33%) of Activision's revenue for MW2 is coming from PS3- that is pretty significant in my book.
It would be better if reviews never included scores. Honestly, you can't really assign a number to each game. They are all so varied. It would be better if people just read the opinions in reviews to see what people liked or didn't like, and then made their judgment on how important each of those features is to them.

I remember thinking when the original COD came out that it was just another Medal of Honor imposter. But when I played it, I loved it. My friends and I played it online so much we pitched in together and bought our own server. Sadly, it looks like I won't be playing IW's latest game.

We can have a debate about who will win, but not who will survive. Clearly all three major consoles right now are doing quite well and will survive.

I will file this under "duh".
They should scale rewards based on rank level of players and team imbalance. For example, lets say I am a level 5 and I am playing against 5 lvl 40's, and my teammates all quit. I should get alot more money per kill than the 5 lvl 40's, because each kill is a Herculian task. I wouldn't mind being outgunned/outnumbered if I got rewarded for what clearly requires more skill.
In addition to posting about games which have not even been released yet, he used images to represent these graphical leaps that AREN'T EVEN FROM THE GAMES. Killzone 2? NOPE that is a pre-render, buddy, and from 2005 no less. MW2? NOPE, try MW.

No. I game online on PC and PS3. Paying for a MMORPG which has huge dedicated server banks is one thing, paying for Live where YOU host the games and they run ALMOST NOTHING is STUPID. Sorry kids, it's the truth.
Hopefully IW paid more attention to W@W than this comment implies, because there are always things you can learn from others. For example, how NOT to do mixed infantry/vehicular combat (see W@W).
Totally agree. I loved COD4 but so far I am having a hard time getting excited about this, it looks like more of the same. BUT, I also felt the same way about Vice City before it came out (it looked like GTAIII with an 80's skin), and I was DEAD wrong about that game.
It looks cool overall, but I am pretty skeptical about that DC invasion part. I say leave the white house invasion malarkey to 24, and the Capital Wastelands to Fallout. I hope the story makes sense...
It is nice to see devs giving eachother honest praise for a job well done. This makes me respect IW a lot more and is a nice change from the usual vitriol like the Turn 10/Polyphony duel of words and screens. I wonder what would happen if both of those devs spent a day at eachother's offices playing the other's games. They would probably learn a thing or two to make their own game better and make everyone around here a lot saner.
I totally should have gotten this game for $10 (it was on sale that weekend) instead of L4D for $40.
