The show is awesome. But competition is always great.
It could be, but to sell for that much, it would be doubtful the sale would go through if it was deemed fake, thanks for ebay's protection policies.
I agree, and again, who really buys Blu-rays now? Well, I know some do, but because of Netflix and other ways of streaming or downloading, this really isn't a big deal. Right?
I'll be donating. I think it's really cool that a video game store is getting involved. See, we are not all jerks who are blood hungry addicts.
It could be a number of reasons. One, they don't want their games to get lost in the mix of everything else. And two, it's expensive to have a press conference. Why waste the money if you think you can be just as affective doing online direct feeds...?
I do too, but I also think we might see more companies go in this direction in the future.
I really miss codes...
I know that I'm in the minority here, but if Microsoft wants to have an always on system, and that some how makes the user experience better, then let them. We aren't obligated to buy the new Xbox, nor are we entitled to what MS decides to do.
You deal with it by purchasing a PlayStation instead.
I refuse to comment if I like FF or not.
What did Stewie do with that purple dildo after? Only one can imagine and hope... :-p

They wants there money!
After he shot himself in the head, I wonder if he lost all his weapons and some money, but miraculously awaken in front of the local hospital?
The amount of money a company like GameStop is making far exceeds any place that makes money off of films. Also, Hollywood is reluctant about Digital distribution. They would prefer you to go out and buy something rather than download it, that's been well-documented. But there isn't a single retailer that sells used DVDs or Blu-ray's, or at very least it's not a big business.
Also, Steam is different. The reason being, there isn't a used PC market.
...
The Industry is quickly leaning towards digital downloads. Once you buy a game digitally, you can't sell it back. If in the next two years 50% are buying the latest game with a download, how can a company like GameStop exist? Not only 50% of the customers not coming into their store, they won't have the ability to buy that these games to resell.
A company like GameStop won't be able to function with 4500 stores.
If even 50% buy games digitally, and I think that number will be low in three years or so, companies that rely on the used market won't have the same inventory. A company like GameStop that has 4500 stores around the world, won't be able to function if 50% of their customers are coming into the store either buy new or used games.
That's how Sony is killing the used market.
Do people even read? The article didn't say Sony was blocking used games! But the author was simply writing the used market will take a HIT because of digital distribution.
"So again, I’m sure GameStop can breathe a little easier today. But they have a much bigger uphill battle in the future. They’re not going to be selling as many new titles as they once were, thanks to digital distribution. And because of that, there won’t be enough physical copies to buyback from...
I think you should read the article. He does talk about that.
Make a few dollars for 12 hours of work a day is good, Call of Duty however, is damaging to their society!
Believe it or not... they can do both.
