They main reason why they are hating the Vita is because bitter from all the hate the 3DS received. Seriously when Nintendo announced a severe price drop 4 months after its release N4G exploded with 3DS hate. Now since theres rumors (gamestop prices are direct conversions of Japanese ones) of extremely expensive memory cards for the Vita bitter 3DS fans are jumping on it like a bunch of vultures on a corpse.

Those hackers are extremely fast as well. Within 24 hours of the 3DS launch hackers managed to crack it. While I dont believe that they will be able to do it in 24 hours with the Vita. I predict that in less than a month they will come up with a hardware hack.

It is. But I don't like Nintendo franchises because I got bored of them a long time ago. The only game im interested in on the 3DS is Resident Evil Revelations but the 3DS isn't worth buying for just one game that I am interested in.

The reason why I didn't buy a 3DS at launch is because at 250 euros it seemed to me that Nintendo was trying to rip the early adopters off. But with the Vita at 250 euros it seems like a steal to me because it contains a lot of great tech for the price. Even after i buy the memory stick it still seems like a great deal to me.

Im getting a Vita because it offers me the franchises that I want to play. Sure there will be some games that I would like to play on the other handheld but not enough to warrant a purchase.

Take into account that the prices that Gamestop was listing were obtained via a direct currency conversion. Just to give a fair example the 3G Vita costs around 390$ in Japan. So it's pretty obvious that the extremely high prices for the memory cards in Japan won't translate to the same prices everywhere else. By now everyone knows that Japan is a very expensive place to live in due to the high standards of living and taxes.

I never said the vita was doomed. On the contrary I think it will do a lot better at launch than the 3DS. All I am saying is that after epic said that they were going to wait and see with the Vita. Some people might take it the wrong way and assume it's Epic abandoning the Vita. Which will cause some doom articles to show up.

Depends on what you buy if you pick up a WiFi Vita and a 4GB stick with a game it will cost you 320$. If that is still too much you can pickup a 3DS with a game and a big 32GB flash card for only 250 euros. It's really up to you.
As for me I will get a WiFi vita day one then will buy a big card if the digital copies of a game are a lot cheaper. If not I will just get a 4GB card as well as a game.

Since there are so many great games for the Vita I have to get one day one. What I dont know is what size of memory cards I will be buying. If digital copies cost 20 euros which is half the price of a retail handheld game then I will buy the 32GB s stick.

Since the game is black and white it should look great on the Vitas OLED screen. It's a great innovative title and I hope Sony comes out with more new IPS.

I just saw the trailer of the last of us. And it seems to me that this game will raise the bar for graphics on consoles. Naughtydog are masters at creating games.
