I agree, even though mines is "3 DVDs at-a-time (Unlimited) plan"($16.99+$4.00) with Blu-Ray Access from $1 to $4 now - it's still cheaper compared to all other rental services out there for me.

I concur, for the starters it will be a challenge for the dozens/hundreds of hours until some trophies get unlocked. Once the NA get's the patch I'll start over instead, looking forward to this.
Cross Edge(JP Version) does not have Trophies while the NA Version being released in 2009(all PS3 games have a mandatory of trophies implemented) will get it's trophies, so we'll see a patch coming soon for both(CE JP & D3 NA).

GFW LIVE is free, no fee requirement for seven months since late July '08. It also got a new interface which isn't mentioned.

I don't think the blogger knows much, GFW is just a marketing program for Windows Operating Systems(with a limited compatibility to Mac OS X). I own several GFW titles while none of them use the LIVE feature and I'm fine with or without it really. Once I get my hands on DoWII it won't make a differ...

Their both the same cause & effect. Scores against levels, not much of a difference. Neither are superior or inferior.
Vecta, try the demo although here are some notes:
- Sacred 2 Demo is graphically downgraded for size.
- Huge patch on it's release fixing a bunch of issues like AA, Mouse Lag, etc, etc.
- The "Huge patch" also come with a lot of new updates on items, quests and much more.
What I honestly like about Ascaron(the developers), they actually deliver good stuff to the players and I hope it stays that way like they did with Sacred 1.
