This game looked amazing and I will never forgive EA for cancelling it. That being said, can we not focus on what “could have been” all the time and try to either get the Star Wars license away from EA, or at least petition them to stop cancelling great looking games just because they may not be able to franchise them?

It reflects life in that regard yes, but it's a game still and a game is supposed to be fun and entertaining. It's far below the entertainment value that it once was. This is why this event is being applauded by the fan base as we hope it breaks up that stagnation.
I am probably most excited about all of the itemization changes. More flexibility within classes, gradual introduction of non-combat bonuses, new set bonuses to mix and match, more loot, tactical items, more legacy friendly. Always looking for ways to spice up the playstyle.

With the level cap increase, there will be a new ability for each advanced class (I think, may have been per discipline). If it is per advanced class, I suspect that they a fully new, not replacements of another ability.
For the Dxun operation, they hinted that Dxun was overcome with monsters, and that hunters who were chasing points may show up. AKA Trandoshans may be involved.

This may seem good, but this type of wall street bullshit is what caused this in the first place. These guys dont see battlefront as a game, but as a means to make more money. Remember to support your favorite indie devs, because every public AAA game company will eventually turn into the shareholder's bitch.
It was a great game while it was around, but I can honestly say it's one of those online games that did not age well. Taking it down was the right thing to do, I only wish they would have made a SWG2, SWTOR is fun and everything, it's just not as close to a true RPG like SWG was. I will miss the player driven communities and economies, and my old guild. Dark Jedi rule!
i agree with the last 2 , but i think specialists are really cool for competitive, as well as the weapons are balanced pretty well, and hunted , infection, and stronghold are also good maps.
There would be most likely quite a few people involved in this model. One or more to model the geometry, one or more to texture and map, including normal mapping etc. probably someone else to work on the shaders, then rigging and animation of course. And there is probably someone (or more) working solely on hair and perhaps other sim effects. Not to mention researchers and photographers. And the technical guys involved with the engine stuff. They will all have had to work together to pull it ...
My favourite things about battlefront 2 were playing as the droids while taking over the galaxy and fighting in space. This glorified 82$ commercial for the new movie shld not be called battlefront at all

And people want more transparency, and then this is what happens. Obviously, this is a few bad apples, the majority want more dialogue with the devs and these people aren't going out of their way to harass this guy.

I was so disappointed with Ep II so I'm hoping the 3rd will be a vast improvement. I wonder if they will release a way to merge all 3 episodes together into 1 story. Would much rather play it in one sitting instead of exiting each time to load another.
