I think the maps coming out so soon is a "fuck you" to customers because I deserved those maps to be included in the original package. Putting so few maps in the game at launch puts you in a position where you feel like you MUST get the new maps, because there just isn't enough. Aside from that if they were really working on those maps since launch, why didn't they just delay the game until november? That's still holiday season and, though it deviates from their traditio...

That was a fun read. But it may've been a little harsh haha. You're not forced to watch walkthroughs, but sometimes when you're playing a shitty game (like Mario Sunshine *quivers*) and you're at a point where you absolutely cannot continue if you don't do this one thing you haven't been given directions on, a guide helps.
Also, video previews and reviews work as guides sometimes, too. I have such good memory when i see things that when I've seen...

Saw the trailer; wasn't impressed. Not much to go off tho, as I'm no fan of the series. Never even played the first game. Hope they fixed the controls, cuz man that game was broken.

Cherry picked? There's no way to cherry pick obvious choices. Cherry picking implies I searched for hidden gems, or went wayyyy back in the past, maybe talking about Grim Fandango or how Shadow Colossus didn't sell well. I chose the games that are obviously important, because they've been in the faces of the community for a long time, and still didn't sell well.

Well you wouldn't really get it. Start with COD: 4 or the plot'll be lost on you.
It won't just bring their sales down, it'll kill them. Walmart, Toys R Us and Gamestop won't stock the game. The only place you'll ever get Manhunt 2 at all will be the little corner game stores, maybe at a 7/11, or online.

About Forge Maps: No one on my friends list had time to make maps, and even if we downloaded some great forge maps I'd rather play online than sit in a custom lobby, but that opens up an entirely separate problem I have with custom games of any kind, which isn't an annoyance specific to Halo.
Also, no one has to threaten me. There are so few maps already, I'd have the impetus to go out and get the new maps. And if that wasn't enough, I'm sure Bungie woul...
