I'm interested in this strictly for the ability to have a handheld that I can plug up to a TV. I miss being able to do that with my Sega Nomad.
Ah, memories.
Hold on...you say mature doesn't mean mature content, then cite a game that's rated M?
Then you attempt to insult those who don't agree with you by calling them pre-teens.
Who's lacking in maturity here?
What a dick.
Personally, I look upon the indie market as the saving grace of the video game industry. Now people who grew up playing games have the ability to create their own, many times right in their own home.
Pretty cool. :)
I find it strange that social anomolies are categorized as diseases. Depression, alcoholism, drug dependancy, and other so-called psychological disorders are products of our own making. You can't just call yourself depressed and expect the world to stop and make you it's main focus.
It's about choice and willpower. If one chooses to give in to the difficulties that life brings, then that person has simply taken the path of least resistance. They get no pity from me.
Only time will tell.
DCUO is an awesome game. The PvP is fk'n epic.
I really hope Thief ends up being as good as it sounds. I'm a fan of the old series, and it would be epic to be able to play this.
I can't remember the last Capcom game I purchased. Certainly nothing of theirs in my current library of games.
At least this article didn't try to praise the awfulness that is the Resident Evil films. Whether you like them or not, you have to admit that the films have almost nothing to do with the game series, beyond a few name drops.
I would love for a decent director to get the chance to reboot that series.
Bit late for a review of a game that took Spike TV's GOTY for 2012, wouldn't you say?
Trion Worlds is coming right along. Rift, Defiance, and (soon) End of Nations. 3 top shelf titles, right there.
It's not about hatred.
It's about demanding more from those that have more resources to put towards games than the smaller developers do. If you're Rockstar, Capcom, Ubisoft, EA, or Bethesda, you have an increased obligation to present top notch, ultra polished games.
I support the smaller, independant developers because that's where I find the innovation lacking from many of today's "AAA" games.
I played Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind for 2 years straight. For 2 years, it was the only game I owned for the Xbox. Never wanted another game for that amount of time.
I could still play it today, and most likely discover things I'd never seen.
That's a great game.
Dude, I'll own R Truth in Street Fighter.
Just fk'n bring it.
Personally, I think given enough time, indie developers will end up being the people who set the new standards. Larger companies who are able to produce so-called AAA titles are growing overconfident in their ability to direct the market.
I always make a point of perusing the current offering of indie titles on PC as well as my 360, just to see what the latest innovation is, because if there's going to be anything new and groundbreaking, it'll most likely come from s...
Wow...Sleeping Dogs isn't that old. Must not have done so well for PS+ to offer it up for free so soon.
I'll stick with my Razer Naga, thanks all the same.
"If we cannot ship a PS4 to your location we will award a prize of similar value."
How do you rank the value of a yet-to-be-released console to the mind of a gamer?
I remember The Guardian Legend very fondly, and to see a re-inventing of it would be a dream come true.
