Everybody I know from computer programmers to kids wants a switch... and the ones who have it use it more than their PS4's simply because it's just so convenient. Hell, I want one.

"Beta launch" dates seems to be a much better way to predict when a game will be released than anything else. And no beta announcement yet.
Still though, a gorgeous game, with perhaps the best game engine deserves as much time as it takes. I do hope they release a downloadable ($10 or less) mini-game to wet our appetites this fall.

Sony has a lot of legacy cost and underperforming units, but the PS4 is their new shining crown and if they are aggressive enough, it can be a way for Sony to regain control of the family room.
I doubt it, Nintendo is swimming in cash. They could lose money for years without having to absorb debt.
It's kinda a shame. If they had more pressure, they would publish their wonderful games on other systems for the cash.

As it turns out, I have had Chronic Fatigue Syndrome for the past 12 years and Ritalin is the only thing keeping me employed.
Prior to CFS, I never had a problem concentrating. Now that I know how difficult it can be, I am so much more sympathetic to all those out of control kids who would do anything rather than sit down and study :)
Instant resume would really help me cut down on my Ritalin use!
For what this game is costing them to produce, it better be!
For anyone who hasn't tried the first two, Infamous in my opinion is the most "fun" video-game I have ever played in my life.
It doesn't have record-breaking graphics or story (although both are pretty freeken good) but it just has the best controls I have ever used. Nintendo is praised for knowing how to make family friendly games that are just "fun" to play. Well, Sucker Punch did this same for us post-puberty types.

Sony & Microsoft have complicated relationships with retailers. But I am hoping that they can use Steam as an excuse to lower prices on their games quicker.
That being said, PSN Plus is crazy with the free games!
Some reasonably priced HD remakes would be great on my $399 Netflix box (PS4) right about now.
One year prior to launch, Sony should have been setting up a few quick classics for these lean months.
The technology displayed in this game dwarfs anything else I have seen and totally came out of nowhere!
