Not the same. DVD is standard def while BR is HD. The people buying it on BR were doing it because of HD. Last gen games were HD, most were upscaled, but still HD. These remasters are cash grabs and the reason why there is no BC on console.
Agree, I would say it's getting ridiculous but we saw this coming last gen. One of the reasons why I went PC this round. These remasters also make it obvious why the new consoles don't have backwards compatibility.

Metacritic is just a collection of review scores, they don't actually review games. Funny how only time people have a problem with Metacriric is when their game gets a low score, but when a score is high those same people suddenly love Metacritic. I have seen people on this site complain about Metacritic, then a month later use Metacritic to try and win an argument.

60fps is important to all gamers, 1080p is less important. As a PC gamer I would gladly reduce resolution to increase FPS and AA to make games look and run more smoothly. The 1080p debate on console is mostly important to some fanboys. If I owned current gen consoles I would be asking for 60fps over 1080p.
What's sad is that gamers complained when Ubisoft added the 3rd person cover system, and now that it's gone, people will probably complain again.
What I'm saying is it makes no sense that MS would lock out Steam when they are selling games like Ori on Steam. Steam makes MS money because "most" people use Windows to access Steam. So MS locking out Steam in Win 10 is complete made up BS. Anyone believing this needs a reality check.

Ezz2013 "So Remasters are cool again ?!" You know I was thinking about that, then I started looking up the other news articles about remasters on other systems. You know what? Hardly any of the people in here wanting remasters did any hating on the other articles. You might find one, maybe two people if you're lucky. Actually many of the people in the God Of War articles saying they didn't want it, are PS4 owners.
