I never managed get my hands on TF2 test but i Did BF1 if BF was going be another modern era i would past but they listened to what many wanted they hit back to world war era not only that but WW1 where soo many reach for WW2 I was loving my time with the beta still am. Problem is slappy some just like to complain some dont understand what to do.
Firstly if your unsure your hardware set your rigs to medium have the frame rate counter active or doenload Fraps.
If you get 60 increase to high preset I ifthis starts impacting disable MSAA to incrase frame rate.
For further more ideas the devs did put a sticky in the steam forums...

I wont and cant disagree when comparing Engine to Unity or unreal the engine is more complex in that sense but come on untill UE4 look at what cryengine gave you if you can work with it.
You obviously know your stuff more than me even as for mobile market there few unreal games on monile market but unity takes that crown as im sure your aware.

Yeh they learnt they still have a very good engine that when in the right hands can be mind blowing.
The engine is getting better to use with eachbuild having vulkan will help alot with cards that had trouble hitting 60fps on cryteks previous titles such as crysis vulkan will help this.

Mr fox I said simular when the game first come out,For me I loved the whole gangs working with you help you out while attacking other gangs as well as offering you all the open level design like GTA Series untill saints row 3 and onwords what happened such a huge change.
Put me off made me frankly disapointed to me they killed what could been great franchise.

I say every platform needs be same where the state of games are concerned. Fedup patches we keep paying full increasing prices for games which lets face it nearly all gets patched in some way.
