It's called an exclusivity deal, not a blocking deal. Complain when Sony buys an entire publisher making multiplatform games and makes them exclusive to the Playstation.
Everything gets more expensive and it is only natural that games do as well. Games get more demanding in terms of manpower required and with the focus on less crunch this would lead to more costs and higher game prices. It's only normal. Gaming is a luxury after all and you don't need to own every game directly when it releases. You can always buy it later during a sale if you can't afford it.

It's not loading up the game that might cause problems it is when playing a game and assets are being streamed during gameplay where you might encounter problems sooner or later. Also the Verge is the last outlet I would trust regarding advice after some of the stuff they put it out recently.

What CPU intensive games though? The whole article is based on this but nearly all PS5 games have a performance mode running at 60 fps that is simply limited from hitting that all the time because of GPU power.
