I got my $10 eagerly waiting to snatch this game up the moment it's available.

I already have the PS2 disc version (I used to own the Gamecube version until I got rid of my GC), but this is one of my favorite games of last generation, and I'd love to have it on my HDD in HD.

I'm loving these HD remakes. So many quality ones hitting this year.

EDIT: Also notice how low on the list "homebrew games" and other homebrew features like "better web browser," and "custom soundtrack support for all games" is on the list compared to potential piracy concerns like "backup loaders," and "Dreamcast, PS1, N64, and more emulators."

Interesting that the staunch "homebrew" supporters are more interested in running software from other gaming platforms on their PS3, than run...

Does this guy EVER STOP SHOWBOATING?

Even if it's completely legal to hack the Xperia Play, he's in the middle of VERY serious litigation, and every single action he's done since this whole circus began could undermine his case, even if he's ACTUALLY in the right.

His arrogant, clearly attention seeking attitude is going to turn even his defenders against him. He's simply posturing, and it's like he hasn't realized that he's pl...

Nice! I was just mentioning to another N4Ger that I'd love to see this released on the network!

Hopefully Vagrant Story will be next, then Parasite Eve 2! (I already own PE1, but I've never played 2)

Man, I didn't realize things were this serious for Sony.

I mean, they're begging for donations in order to keep on fighting. It's a real shame. They could have been a contender...

Oh, wait, it's GEOHOT that's on the ropes, begging for donations because the case didn't turn out to be so open and shut as the armchair lawyers on message boards across the internet were saying it was?

Wasn't this thing supposed to over ...

Chrono Trigger is the RPG that got me hardcore in JRPGS.

I had played the original Final Fantasy on the NES back when I was a kid, but it wasn't until CT that I became hooked.

Excellent story, excellent characters, excellent battle system. It's what JRPGs are REALLY supposed to be.

Somewhere along the way, many JRPG development studios (read: Square-Enix), have forgotten the heart and soul of a JRPG.

Chrono Trigger is...

Two things make me question this:

1) Microsoft only has, roughly, 8 first AND second party development studios. How many of those studios do you think has the manpower to produce all the Kinect games MS is touting, AND, "core" non-Kinect games?

In comparison (not an attack or stealth troll, just a fact), Sony has 19 first party studios, AND 11 second party studios. Many of them have "core" AND MOVE titles in the works for this year (I won&...

lol. This is just beautiful to behold.

look, hacking your own console for your personal use is fine. I understand wanting to do that, and as I've stated before, I have custom firmware on one of my PSPs so I can play homebrew (I just currently got addicted to T.O.M.E, and am playing a freeware version of Cave Story on my PSP). I still support my favorite developers buy BUYING legal copies of my games from stores or PSN (lately, PSN, so I can download the games to the PSP2 ...

Unfortunately, AT&T is the only ISP in my area of Los Angeles, so I'm stuck with them.

I had a hell of a time dealing with them over the past month and a half due to my slow internet connection. I was paying for the highest speed they have, but was getting the LOWEST. It was infuriating.

Playing the DCUO Beta, and watching videos from Netflix and Hulu was damn near impossible.

I kept trying to chat with them over their "Live Chat...

I understand what you are saying, but it's impossible for games releasing NOW to have nostalgia.

You fondly look back on experiences like Chaos Theory (I never played much of the SC series, as I'm not a fan), but maybe you'll look back on some of the great experiences you may have had this generation in 5-10 years?

I'm pretty sure I'll fondly remember Folklore, Uncharted, Demon's Souls, MGS4, Killzone 2/3, Ratchet&Clank, LBP 1&...

What crap have we been fed this gen?

I sincerely ask, because, as a married gamer of limited funds, I've had to be extremely aware of how I've been spending my gaming money.

So far this generation, I've only truly regretted two purchases: Fable 2, and Fable 3 (and this is coming from a Fable fan).

I've bought and played many, MANY games this generation across my PS3 and 360, but I've never felt like I've somehow been s...

God this generation is full of entitled little brats that aren't satisfied with ANYTHING!

It's a teaser trailer. It's teasing us about the game. As for the trailer being uninformative? I don't really get that.

The trailer told us pretty much all we need to know about the setting of the game:

1) Zombies.
2) Island Resort.

Is Dead Island NOT about an island resort infested with zombies?

Heavy Rain was a great adventure game with lots of tension and atmosphere.

So far, we're seeing Jurassic Park from Tell Tale out of context. Little clips here and there do NOTHING for establishing the beats and pacing when we actually play the game.

I'm reserving judgment on Jurassic Park for 2 reasons:

1) Tell Tale games knows how to make quality adventure games, no matter the license.

2) I love Jurassic Parks (and d...

All of these Activision closures will more than likely be a blessing in disguise.

I worked for Activision for over 3 years, and the deadlines and long, almost FORCED hours are brutal. These guys are given such a short amount of time to develop and bugtest a game, it's no wonder that the products ATVI shits out are crap.

Hopefully these developers will be able to form their own independent studios, or get snagged up by a publisher/studio that will allow th...

Excellent!

Now I should be able to get LA Noire AND inFAMOUS 2 (the original, May 24th date meant that I'd only be able to get one of them, and sorry, LA Noire, but inFAMOUS 2 is my most anticipated game of 2011).

Game is looking amazing, and I can't wait. Fortunately, I have so many other games to occupy my time until then (I have yet to pick up LBP2 and Dead Space 2, then Killzone 3 next week, Dragon Age 2 and Yakuza 4 in March, Ico/SOTC Collection ...

I have to say that I have been pretty hard on Valve since the PS3 launch, and it was deservedly so, as they didn't just take their dislike of the PS3 to the next level, but they brought the PS3 FANBASE into their vitriol, and they had NOTHING to do with Sony and the PS3.

BUT, if Valve is willing to humble themselves and apologize for how they treated the PS3 community, then I'm big enough to forgive them. I will NEVER forget however.

I've been a f...

All this hacking is annoying, and is only serving to slow down the progress of REAL updates from Sony's developers/engineers who create firmware updates that actually ADD something new to the console.

I won't list them here, but since 2007, the PS3 has gotten a ridiculous number of free features added to it's roster, and yet people STILL bitch and complain?

Being a PS3 owner since February 2007, I remember what it was like on PSN and the PS3 in ge...

One game doesn't make up for the fact that they've scored nearly 90% of the PS3 exclusive library 7/10 or lower, while they've scored nearly 90% of the Xbox 360 exclusive library 9/10 or higher.

It's practically mathematically impossible for 90% of a consoles exclusive library to suck that bad, or be that awesome.

The point people are trying to make isn't that the Xbox 360 library is being over-scored (although some games ARE), but that th...

What makes this article even MORE hilarious is that Visari sent SEV chocolates.

I suppose all is forgiven after the ending of Killzone 2. lol.

SPOILERS:
Is it possible that that WASN'T Visari at the end of Killzone 2, and maybe he went into hiding, in order to be a more effective martyr, rallying his people to extreme action in Killzone 3?

If this is KZ3 marketing, WHY would they use Visari, instead of the two new villains? I know Vi...
