I wonder if the wireless version will have a chargeable feature or rely on batteries. Also will it have some sort of low power warning so it doesn't crap out at the worst times. I have the Turtle Beach x31 and while they are awesome for gaming or watching TV when my infant daughter is asleep they eat lots o batteries. And shut off without warning.
I hope they take their time and release on next gen.

This is actually the only Elder Scrolls game I never completed due to the patches that required you to completely restart.
Wouldn't it be great if Bethesda gave these even a moderate graphics overhaul and released them (arena and daggerfall) on PSN and XBLA.

Don't disregaurd New Veagas. It's done by the original developmed team of Fallout 1 & 2. Much improved over Fallout 3.
This is what all the other DLC has been building toward. The final showdown with the othwr courier. I think they have done a great job of having an underlying story built into each dlc not just "Here's a completly unrelated story" like most games dlc.

Your right. I believe while everybody is focused on raw hardware both the Nextbox and PS4 will be uber powerful. What will need to happen is very good deveolpment toolsets from MS and Sony. otherwise cost for most studios will be too high.
Well yeah i realize they use thier own engines. I'm just dreeaming of how sweet the next fallout or elder scriils "could" look with more horsepower.

Terrible list. Most of these can be solved with thurd party devices. Especially controllers. Now im a gamer of over 30 years and I cant stand it when people talk highly of Sony's controllers. After ten years of Psone and PS2 gaming I converted to 360 in a day because the controller was so ergonomic with offset analogs.
Now ill be the first to admit that PS3 games are starting to outshine 360 games graphicly. I still pick up the 360 version because of the superior controller. <...
Im kind of torn. I want to like Kinect, but at the same time seems to gimmicky. It really needs the addition of a one handed controller. If you combined the ps move wand with kinect you could solve most of the issues that hold Kinect back from serious games. Imagine how sweet skyrim could be with that combination, but it would be impossible to do with Kinect alone.
I've seen the name xbox Fusion thrown around some. That seems kind of cool, but whats in a name anyway? I remember when the Nintendo Revolution turned into the Wii. I thought the big N were smoking crack.
One thing nobody seems to consider is load time. How much of our game time is lost to load screens. disc capacity is great but as textures get larger we are going to need faster drives.
The intresting thing about this is that was how Sony originally intended to enter the video games market. They once were in codevelopment of a super nintendo CD add on similar to the Sega CD. Nintendo saw the poor market performance of Sega CD and broke off the development partnership. Sony somewhat spurned decided to develop thier own platform (Playstation).
