Your analysis has made me want to play fallout 4. Skyrim does shit on Tw3. I put 50 hours into TW3, got rid of it when the beast of crookback bog battle dipped to 15 fps and the exp bug ruined the climax of a several hour long mission after it was suppose to be patched. That game was a rip off. It looks like it works now but should have then. Without the gameplay( the meat of all games) all that dialogue is a bark with no bite. A bunch of hot air. A long winded failure of a game
TW3 doesn't belong among the top RPGS of all time but it does establish a new story telling standard. If the gameplay matched the dialogue it would but it doesn't so it ain't. Ya dig? Skyrim for me trumps it as well as several Zelda's and mass effect 2. Phantasy star 2 is still my all-time fave
