The game was given an 8 month delay which is pretty insane, but City and Asylum looked fairly good on 360 and PS3. Rocksteady's team definitely hits the mark for their target visuals. I can see AK hitting 900p/30fps with settings around high for PS4 and X1 at the least. The game is still using the Unreal Engine 3 which is extremely optimised at this stage.

I read in one of Nintendo's board announcements that they implicitly stated that their future hardware would be cross platform within the company's own consoles. It also sounded like it would be scalable across future hardware following that.
Imagine, games that are no longer restricted to one console but are designed to scale up and down seamlessly on each platform, using a SINGLE DISC/CHIP.

Cloud based gaming is a stupid direction to take, most countries outside the US barely support streaming of 720p video. It's WAY TOO reliant on a country's internet infrastructure. Not to mention the tangibility factor.

It's such an awesome game, to be honest, I just want to see how the visuals look on my system, a trial in a way. It's a huge game and I couldn't bother playing through it on another platform, but it's always interesting to see the differences. Multiplatform discs would be a pretty awesome thing don't you think! There's probably a million ways it could go wrong though.
