It's kind of exciting that games we were expecting to be last gen releases that we saw awesome targeted footage for are now likely going to be on PS4/X1. It's likely it'll look like the target footage if not better.
I really hope this gen revitalises the open world/platforming space/science fiction area. Just think about the stuff we'll inevitably be seeing;

I've never played Metal Gear Solid before, only seen brief snippets of it. Why does Hideo Kojima label the games chronologically out of order? And why doesn't he make a sequel to MGS4? Also is there maybe an abridged version of the entire story? I'm not really a prequel fan so I'll likely pass on this game then. Do you think he'll remake the games in chronological order with modern graphics? I wouldn't mind playing it properly from start to finish.
I thought Solid Snake was the guy you play as? I'm really confused. Also doesn't this take place after all of the other MGS games hence the 5 in the title? People keep talking like they know what's going to happen and what not.
I think a one generation old remaster is a waste unless it was something extremely significant and iconic like The Last of Us.
To be honest, I'd like to see remasters/remakes of PS2/Xbox era games first. I'd really like to play Kingdom Hearts 1 & 2 with graphics on par with Knack.

It says cross save support for each family of consoles, does that include the PS Vita for the PS4? As I've done so much on the Vita version of BL 2 that'll it suck donkey balls if I can't transfer.
Rocksteady is very clever with the integration of story DLC, like Catwoman in Arkham City. Their significant contributions to Batman's story usually connect through cutscenes, however wherever the character comes from or goes to is where the gameplay is, which is usually all you miss out on.

Yeah was it because George Lucas was going crazy? I recall reading an interview with a Free Radical developer talking about communication between LucasArts and their company being like an interrogation and through a lawyer every time. I hope that's not the case this time!
It can't be KOTOR as all Star Wars merch and EU is on a clean slate since Disney acquired LucasArts. However, that doesn't mean we won't be getting a Star Wars RPG akin to KOTOR which is really what I'm hoping for. I really just want to see some next gen open world SCI-FI games. That's going to be the big stuff for me.
Star Wars The Force Unleashed may have been the last OKAY Star Wars game, we really haven't had something jaw dropping or award winning for nearly a decade. Honestly a cross platform Pokemon game would have been much more popular and I'm sure much more widely wanted than a fighter. I really don't know why Nintendo and Gamefreak don't do it.

Unfortunately it's a lot less than it might seem. However it is strikingly similar to the opening note progression at the beginning of Banjo Kazooie's opening theme. The one played on the banjo, that dun dun dun DUN, dun dun dun DUN haha, listening to it and then look at the sheet music notes.
