lets face it, if sony ever managed in the first place with the ps2 to have a very competent online service, the xbox would have been way out of sonys league, but xbox live is excellent, i dont care if you have to pay, i know for what i pay i am getting a very good console online service and never had any problems with it.
i personally think the game is nothing special and the ps3 will have much better racers in the future. never understood all the hype around this game ever since I saw gameplay footage at E3.

saddos who think you cannot own a sony or microsoft gaming console together. it all boils down to the fact they cannot afford more than console so they invite themselves into this fanboy war rubbish. its most probably schoolkids, even so, it makes woeful reading and spoils it for people who want to enjoy discussing video games as a whole.

the xbox 360 is a next generation console and an excellent one at that. all this "ps3 is the real next gen" is a load of friggin rubbish. just because it has a newly and unproven disc format doesnt mean it is better than the 360. you buy a games console to play games, not to watch movies -FACT.
i couldnt give a crap. at the end of the day i own a 360 and I am well pleased with it. The PS3 at the moment and in the near future, does not offer me one game of interest. If MGS4 was a star title then I would consider one. The one thing that really guts me about PS3 though is the joypad, its awful, especially for FPS.
Downloaded the demo tonight (single player) and I have to say I am very impressed. Graphics are stunning, especially the main character Sam Fisher, great atmospheric music and sound effects, great gameplay. I must buy this game asap.
