Kinect had more uses than this dies. Kinect allows you to control and interact with a variety of different applications, even television. Yet still this feature is looked at like a big deal? I just don't get it anymore. I guess the fanboy wars are wise than ever, and I finally just grew out of it...
Also, direct influence on gameplay isn't new, it's just a new way of doing it also... it's called co-op

Why do the Sony fanboys hope that Xbox One doesn't have increased sales? What are you afraid of? Haven't you learned yet that if there isn't competition, things stagnate, or get monopolistic. I hope Xbox One has a great month, and I hope the PS4 keeps moving along at the pace it's been selling. Could be great for the console gaming world...

As interesting as the idea is, its nowhere near ready for main stream use. Its an interesting gimmick, but thats about it. Yeah I agree, it's crazy how people are hyped about a game made by the makers of one of the most successful series of games, and with a beta that was more fun than some full releases!
Unlike Order 1880 or whatever, which clearly had a reason to deserve hype!
People hype good games, don't get upset, just enjoy gaming, and get both consoles and enjoy the exclusives.
Bottom line, it's on pace to beat the Xbox 360 in sales, which is a very good pace. If these paces continue for both systems, I think we can safely say console gaming isn't dying anytime soon. Just evolving...

False alarm
Everything seems to run smoother. Game and app tiles are loaded instantly, don't lag anymore. Go home and Home button work instantly and smooth now. Everything seems a bit better. Also, Dolby Digital! Headsets work....
If Microsoft fails to grab a foothold this generation, do you guys realize how bad that is for Sony in the long run? You need both companies to succeed. There is a reason why Sony NEEDS this system to be profitable.
My vote is for both companies to do well, and gaming to finally dump this free to play model and get back to pumping out good, solid games. And perhaps the scaling back of DLC.
I disagree, third party controllers are never add solid and well built as their first party brothers
