I am still very sad The Evil Within is not on the list. Such an underrated game. It should have been in best New IP category. Oh well, it doesn't matter now.

And I think the real fun will be the GOTY's of 2015. Its going to be a wild year.

Since i can recommend a category for this year. Here is some :)....

Best Protagonist... For instance, Snake/Master Chief/Drake/Link etc. Aside from Best new VG character.

Best first Person Shooter...COD/Battlefront/Halo 5 etc

Best Third Person Shooter...Uncharted 4/Quantum Break etc

Best Game Graphics...The Order 1886/Quantum Break etc

Best Open World Game...Witcher 3/Arkham Knight/Xenoblade Chronicle X etc

Best Sequel.... MGSV/Persona V/Halo 5/Uncharted 4 ... etc

Best Console Exclusive... Halo 5 for Xone, Uncharted 4 for Ps4, Zelda U for WiiU etc.

Thats all i can recommend for now... Feels weird replying to myself lol.

I'm gonna be honest. I really didn't find Shadows of Mordor that great. I mean, it was definitely good, and the nemesis system was interesting (to a point), but there was also a lot I didn't like.

Oh boy, I really want to see who wins Fail of the Year.

I feel like Duck Dynasty and Rambo shouldn't of been included because they weren't expected to be good games in the first place.

You have to understand what we're trying to get with Fail of the Year choice. In the nomination choices, you'll see the following description for FOTY:

"The worst game. So terrible. Horrifying really. We shouldn't even talk about it."

For me, this is why I nominated Ducky Dynasty and Escape Dead Island. They're simply games I had spent at least some time with that were so terrible/laughably terrible (depending on situation) that they embody the quoted portion above imo. Of course, Disappointing + Worst are often considered the same for some gamers and their financial situations. Maybe Destiny or Watch_Dogs was indeed the worst for some who may have stuck with better AAA/indie stuff released in 2014.
