I've been playing through this on 360.

It's got a good battle system and great graphics, and the story is intriguing, but some of the characters are kind of unappealing to me. Most of the characters are good, though. Really, my problem with the game is that after a while you start to feel like it's all following the same structured playlist on repeat. Like, you'll go to a town and separate from your party, then you talk to everyone individually and reform, then you go to the next dungeon, halfway through there will be a save point, then at the end of the dungeon you get heated words between you and the enemy, you fight a boss, the enemy gets away, you go to the next town, repeat.

I'm about 2/3s through it and about 50 hours in, and I'm starting to feel like each segment is a chore. I'm not sure if I'll ever finish it because I still have Persona 4 sitting on my shelf and I'm really itching to start on that.

Oh, and PS, the achievements for this game SUCK. About 600 points worth of the achievements require you to play through the entire game doing very specific things that often include missable items/events/etc. to accumulate a whole mess of requirements before the little 10 pointer unlocks.

I'm 50 hours into this game and I've been actively trying to make as many achievements unlock as I can up to this point without using an achievement guide, and I've still got less than 250 points from this game. That's by far the fewest points relative to hours played of any 360 games I've ever owned.

Not that achievements make or break a game or anything, but, just a heads up: don't expect to rack up any quick and easy points with this game.

Overall, it ain't quite the next-gen JRPG savior. I played Persona 3 for about 3 times this amount of time and never felt bored of it.

It's starting to get to me how much this is happening. These publishers keep misleading people into thinking that one game is exclusive to a system then turning the tables and releasing the game for another system.

I'm happy for the JRPG fans who don't have an xbox 360 to play this game on, but what about the people who picked up this game for the 360? Now they hear that the better version is coming out for the PS3 and they're going to miss out on some content, content that they should've gotten with they're purchase.

I don't know how the rest of you guys feel about it, but it just seems a little shady from where I sit.

....this showed Namco how much PS3 owners and fanboys would love to have this game on the system. Thanks to this, Namco may have a decision to make if the game isn't under the exclusivity umbrella anymore. Let's see how they react to this if at all.

Still, though, people need to chill out. PS3 fanboys are too quick to believe something, and 360 fanboys are quick to push that "fake" line down our throats. And 360 fanboys, you're just AS guilty of firing this story up by coming on here and responding to the reaction of the other side the way you did or are, since N4G's temp system also depends on comments to an article as well as actual hits.
