Brock from GoozerNation reminisces about these PS1 classics, currently free for PlayStation Plus members.
Retro games are now pretty much gone, and while they're a thing of the past, they had stuff in them that make them worth busting out an old system for.

Wish they would return, how long can you play open world games?

than Call of Duty,Destiny,Battlefield,Mass Effect etc.....
The holidays are here, and we asked around for some cherished gaming memories during these festive times. Got any of your own?
Oddly enough, I play The Grinch on PS1 every December. One of the best licensed titles of the time.
I remember getting the original Legend of Zelda as a kid. First time I laid eyes on that gold beauty I was beside myself. Years later getting the SNES was a great memory too. I miss being a kid sometimes. I hope to envoke that nostalgia with my children.
I think I have only got a game system for Christmas twice and that was the Original Xbox and PSP 1000. Both were amazing when I got them back in the day. But I think my favorite console I ever got was for a birthday and that was the Nintendo 64 with Mario Kart 64, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2, and Army Men Sarge Heroes. But all of these were unexpected gifts that were so awesome opening up and being surprised. Also I have all of Nintendo and Sonys consoles and only the Original Xbox from Microsoft.
When i got my PS2 for Christmas, i wasnt expecting one due to low supply. Played Dynasty Warriors 2 all day!
Jacob K. over at TakuChat gives us a glimpse of the Spyro game we all want but will most likely never get.
I would love to see Spyro go back to its roots, I'd prefer a remake to start it off though.I love that game.
I had so much fun with these games when they first released, then I had that fun all over again when I played them and beat all with my daughter on the PS3
I'd love a new one
i dont think activision will ever release a platformer without thinking about selling merchandises after the success of skylander.
Oh great this is amaing.....oh wait Europe hasn't even got them yet
Another US offer that would make me buy plus and yet we'll get something crappy over here.
By the time they release the rest of the good PS1 classics in Europe, especialy the UK....the PS4 will be announced. We better be able to transfer and play them next gen because I don't want to buy them again
Yea for Spyro!
Now these are some good games.
Spyro 1-3 are amazing, and I've beaten each one multiple times
:)
