Spyro the Dragon has been a series running for fifteen years so far. During that time, the beloved purple dragon has went through many aesthetic changes in the hands of eleven different development teams.
Before Call of Duty publisher Activision’s “Skylanders” re-invigorated Spyro’s character for a new generation of children, the main series Spyro console games hadn’t received a GameRankings average above 72 since the original trilogy on the PSone.
Absolutely love this trilogy, i still own the disc`s :P
Play them once in a while on ePSXe :P looks so good @720p
Pity Insomniac sold the rights :( since then they have been total rubbish.
Call me a liar but I still play these games to this day (thanks PS+), well, my 5 year old daughter plays them alot, ill give her a helping hand when she needs it, she loves collecting the dragon eggs etc
She gets stuck on some of the mini games, skateboarding for example
Its a strange feeling, playing through a game that I once played, beat and loved as a child, to then play it again years later with one of my children, reliving the memories
i cant calm down when i see that little guy. shwiing
Pure magic contained in a plastic disc.
Both Spyro and Crash defined platform on Ps1, is a shame they were forgotten, although i enjoyed Crash & Spyro first PS2 games they couldnt compete with the PS1 tittles.
