Triverse writes, "Hidden Object games are all about the graphics (how well do the objects you are searching for fit into the scene?) and the storyline (if the storyline sucks, generally so will the game). If either one is “off” the whole game comes off as second rate. Shards of Time is a glowing example of how to do these games right."

GameVortex - Shards of Time feels like many other hidden object games I've played in the past. While that doesn't make it a bad game, it does make it blend into the background noise quite a bit.
