I just want to get my hands on the Kara game.

no sir, I don't really think so. just look at the brilliant samaritan demo and how far away from photorealism it is.
but maybe in 20 years or something we could have games "indistinguishable from reality"

I love David Cage. I would seriously move to Paris RIGHT NOW, if it meant I could be even an unpaid intern at Quantic Dream.

read it properly guys and ignore that headline:

“I think the future, the most interesting feature in the next-gen platforms will be meaningful content. Yeah, technology is great and it’s going to get better and better until you reach the stage where you won’t be able to tell the difference between reality and games. We are what, 10 years from that now? Ok.”

he's talking about making games 'meaningful' and simply throws in an arbitrary number of years for when photorealism will hit... he's not saying it 'will' be then, he's just expressing that to put his opinion of 'meaningful' into perspective

Oh God, I really hope that never happens, reality sucks. I play games to escape into an unreal environment!

It will eventually. It'll be perfect for military games, sports games, and racing/flight simulators.
