Buckle up and take a look at 20 more minutes gameplay from the forthcoming Resident Evil Operation Raccoon City as Msxbox-world show off a later mission as well as some more survival based gameplay in Raccoon City's streets and cemetery.

I like the look of the game's environments. Something about the use of color and the contrast between the darkness of the alley with the fire just seems very atmospheric.

^ i agree, but one thing i notice is that it still doesnt feel like resident evil. you are constantly surrounded by allies and it takes away from the game alot. i dont see any puzzles, broken switches, lock gates ( that needs searching to find a key), or collecting crest, its just run and gun :( i know im going to get it ,but i wont be truly satisfied

Crapcom should just take the Valve Source engine and create a mod for L4D with Cut scenes and puzzles etc lol that would make a great RE game.

Benefits of going this way:

The source engine looks really good
Runs smooth (the last RE game felt so clunky).
Gun play on the source engine is second to none.

I was hoping it would be a co-op survivor horror where you're limited on ammo, have to make barricades, fight off infection. Getting through the environment by makeshift ways and solving odd puzzles.

This just looks run of the mill to me. I'll still play it but am somewhat disappointed. The same goes to the Vita Silent Hill game too. WTF!

Also, I'm so FUCKING sick of explosive barrels! Come on developers use your fucking imagination for once.

couldn't agree more. COD, MW, SOCOM, Battlefield....my god, enough already! Now RE6 will follow the same stupid foothpath as 90% of all other games out there on the market. The war game step, TAKE COVER! THROW THE GRENADES BLA BLA BLA. Just buy first COD and play it over and over and over again instead of buying the same crap over again, you will save your money, I promise.

the video is low quality but i can pretty much say that framerate is running well bellow the 30fps!Not smooth in anyway that gameplay!He is playing with AI and the game is running very bad,i can only imagine how much bad this game will run online without a steady framerate to control input lag.

Folks, please remember that the makers of this game (Slant Six) are the same people who made SOCOM confrontation. Not only was that game not ready for release (full of feautures on box that were not in the game until 6 months+ after release, buggy etc) but it was not even a true SOCOM game.

The same will happen for this game and series. Do NOT buy this game. If you have to have it buy it used or rent it.

DO NOT SUPPORT SLANT SUX.

Interesting...No wonder it has that "Socom" feeling to it. Personally, I was never interested in the Socom franchise but I have heard horrible things about Slant Six when they made Socom for the PS3. Kind shocked they are making this game.

This game looks like crap and the only thing that saves it in my honest opinion is coop.

I don't like the direction RE is going. Looks like a fun game and I will get it sure, but I want old style Re, I want slow scary zombies and the mansion with a spooky environment, I want to be scared. This is just left for dead 2.

I miss the shit your pants moments when walking quietly down a hallway.

Some of you people need to realize that RE has extended pretty far in the series, and it's just a natural progression for developers to try something different. Hell, this game is just a side story and not one of the numbered continuation of RE, so why complain about it?

If every RE game followed the exact formula as 1-3, fans would complain that it's the same old sh*t, and that Capcom is just milking the series.
