According to many one of the worst flaws of the Cataclysm expansion of World of Warcraft is its linearity, Blizzard seems to have taken notice and promised change.
Blizzard Entertainment has announced the opening of beta registrations for “World of Warcraft: The War Within,” inviting players to explore new subterranean worlds beneath Azeroth.

This is not aimed at Blizzard but it's funny that a lot of developers admit they make mistakes only when a new game is out instead of fixing the mistakes the mistakes in the first place.
It's like it take a new game to realise they made them when they already knew about them.
