TQauthor writes: The time has come once again for yet another entry in the Family Game Night series. For those of who are not familiar with it, this is a franchise of titles centered around specific board games from Hasbro. Each year the company takes five of these games, and decides to create a compilation of them in the form of a video game. For the most part, every iteration has followed that same layout, but this year, things are just a little bit different. Family Game Night 4: The Game Show decides to take things in a completely different direction, and tries to recreate an experience reminiscent of the TV show they have on the game show channel, The Hub. Does this approach add a new level of spark to the series?, or have things basically remained the same?, let’s find out.

Brash Games writes "Hasbro is a brand known for their board games, they have again teamed up with EA Games to bring us the latest instalment of the Family Game Night series. This time, however, they have tried to change things up by making the game look like a game show".

You may have played these games before, but never like this! Hasbro Family Game Night 4 takes five classic games and re-imagines them just like on the Hasbro Family Game Night TV show. In Yahtzee! Bowling, you won’t just roll dice, you’ll chase number combos by bowling and knocking down pins. In Connect 4, you’ll score four in a row by sinking shots in a basketball hoop. Aim for the bull’s-eye and block your opponents with giant pieces in Sorry! Sliders. Move fast to re-arrange word tiles in Scrabble Flash. Use quick reflexes to own the Bop-It Boptagon. The big winners take home prizes from the Monopoly Crazy Cash Machine."
