In an interview with Dealspwn.com, Runic Games CEO Max Schaefer states that the Xbox 360's 512MB of RAM will not be enough to support Torchlight 2 without a massive overhaul.
Starting today, Torchlight II is free at Epic Games Store. The free game offer runs until December 31 at 11 AM Eastern. Once you claim it, it’s yours to keep.
Don't need Epic's crap store to get games for free haha. I can get free games anytime I want ^_^

*waits for the "Runic games don't know what they're doing" comments*
"Considering that Torchlight's art style was actually designed so that "it wouldn't need the latest shaders and could run on most PCs," we're a little surprised by the statement -"
What? Surprised? Guys....512MB, I doubt ANY PC still runs with this. You wouldn't even be able to open the newest version of Internet Explorer with that little memory.
Give me a retail boxed version if you cannot fit it into the xbla file size limit, and I will make the purchase!
Microsoft should just raise the limit. 3 GB's should suffice, plus with the cost and value of these games going up, it only makes sense.
It's beyond obvious that XBL has the best selection of games and they need to keep developers relatively happy. Just look at the Summer Of Arcade, was the best one yet! fantastic!

My bad, I didn't read the article. I thought it was the same one I read a few days ago. Which was about the amount of space your allowed on XBL.
Personally, I think they will get it on the 360 at some point either way. Too profitable not to do so. The first game sold really well.
^^ Are you guys not reading the article? runic states that the 512MB of Ram on the Xbox is nto enough to run the Pc version of TL2. so they have to rebuild it for the console and to think the PS3 has less RAM than the 360.
