I hope the game gets better after the first brutal 10 minutes, that was painful to watch.

I've been playing Mario since DONKEY KONG in 1982 and this is the 1st time a Mario game absolutely sucked to me. That was a bad 10 minutes, very bad, I hope it gets better.

Really? I don't like the feeling of these bit sized planets! The simple texture shading is sorta nice, but not breakthrough (not pixel shading beautiful). I guess I was hoping more!

All I can say is WOW!!! this is a franchise that has lasted for over 20 years and Miyamoto still finds a way to keep it fresh. The only thing I wish they would fix and this has been my problem since mario first went 3-D is the camera. It can be very difficult at times to judge distance the way the Camera is set up. Other then that, GREAT!!!!

Yeah... this Mario game doesn't excite me yet. I want larger environments/planets. I get so bored watching the 10 minutes because it is just a bunch of small planets. Maybe the rest of the game will be better. I'm not sure I'll be a fan of fighting upside down either. You can tell from watching this guy that it is not too natural to jump and run when running on the underside of the planet. THis guy kept missing koopa kids and could only catch the bunny when on a flatter more normal surface.

I'm really hoping this game is gonna be great. I love the Mario series.

So.......... hawt! Too bad I don't got a Wii. Super Mario 64 was the best, hope this is just as good, though I really don't like all the little planets you walk around. I want large flat areas too. (By flat, I mean not walking upside down and crap. Obviously there would still be obstacles and what not to make it a platformer, but walking around planets seems like it will just get annoying and repetitive.

I only watched the opening cinematics - I don't want to spoil the gameplay. But it really just brings to mind a feeling I haven't had since playing N64 games. Also, did anyone notice how the three things on the underside of the spaceship kind of look like breasts? I laughed when I saw them.

wow....I can tell many ppl who visit this page are Anti-Nintendo jajajaja....let's be honest, this game is going to blow the competition software sells during these holidays, so there's no point on hating on this game, lets face it "It's Mario"....and I also read comments about walking around little planets only, for those people who said that "They're wrong"....Of course there are going to be many areas with planets like this because its Mario GALAXY, but there also a bunch of flat levels too....This game is a Next Gen Mario 64.....It looks good, its fresh, it has revolutionary gameplay, and its completely new on the Mario franchise...so that means it is NEXT GEN :P ...
