The finals for Eve’s Alliance Tournament IX ended today, but not how anyone would have expected. Accusations of the finals being rigged or setup started even before the final match ended. You see what many Eve Online players and viewers of the tournament didn’t know was that the two finalists were really one team.
CCP Games has unveiled an ambitious roadmap for their sci-fi MMO EVE Online in 2024, headlined by the massive Equinox expansion set to launch on June 11th.

Lol :P Well a really smart move from their part :P Annoying for some maybe, but play better then the next time around :P Its not like they cheated their way to the finals. They beat everyone on the way.
It might be what EVE is all about in a sense, but it made for some pretty poor entertainment, that's for sure. The only thing I can think of which might be more boring would be an ice mining tournament.
