Drawing on Nordic tradition and folklore, Wisp‘s artwork and music aim to please gamers beyond game mechanics. Its story involves Eira, a wisp (much like a fairy) who is lost in the forest. Of course, it’s not as simple as it sounds: the forest is inhabited by an ancient creature named Fáfnir and, apparently, it bleeds constantly. “His blood seeps from his wounds and out into the forest where it gains a life of its own; corrupting and defiling the surrounding woods and any life it comes in contact with.” Now, doesn’t that sound just lovely?"
