It will eventually catch up to them. Ever series that has their huge success, moment in the Sun, falls from grace/crashes and burns when they milk customers without innovation.
I hate the fact that people seem to be trapped in this COD cycle and they don't even realise it.
Most COD fans are so obsessed with this crap franchise that they don't even realise the other great games coming out that month. Uncharted 3, Skyrim, Assassins Creed revealtions.
Then you get people who say things along the lines of "Oh COD is the best FPS ever, it's the first game that changed the way we think about FPS"
Clearly you havent heard of or played on Counterstrike.
With activision at the helm, its already fizzled out like Tony hawk and guitar hero.
