The Games for Windows – LIVE ‘Deal of the Week’ offers are often a bit hit-and-miss. The digital distribution service seems to be a bit confused in it’s pricing strategy at the best of times, let alone when one product is reduced so significantly in price for one week only. This week however, it makes perfect sense, as one of the best games of recent years becomes available for a pocket money price.
Huzaifa from eXputer: "2008 was home to the likes of Call of Duty: World at War, Dead Space, GTA 4, Far Cry 2, Left 4 Dead, and many other hits, which is outright remarkable."
Just about every year in the 7th generation was great and something we most likely won't experience again.
2009 for example had Assassin's Creed 2, Batman: Arkham Asylum, Dragon Age: Origins, Uncharted 2, Halo 3: ODST, Killzone 2, Borderlands, Bayonetta, and Demon's Souls to name a few.
If you are looking for an awesome RPG, look no further. Steam is offering a significant discount on its Fallout Franchise Bundle.
"You can get all Fallout games in a bundle at a significant 20% discount on Steam. Individually, all these games add up to $244.91. With the discount, you can get them all for $195.91. That is $49 less than the original price. Quite a significant discount for such a popular franchise."
😊 😂 🤣 😐 - But why?
Just wait for a sale and get most if not all of it for a fraction of that price.
20% off...lol
The original games have been given out for free by Amazon for GOG and Epic, 76 is free now on Amazon if you have prime, Epic has also given out new Vegas for free and 4 has gone down to pretty cheap prices. 194 bucks is a total ripoff when you can get these games individually for less. Don't forget cd keys might sell em for a dollar less at times too. Come on man, us cheapskates won't touch anything near or above 100 lolz
The artist behind Fallout 4’s Deathclaw reveals just how bad things got back when Bethesda took over the series
People are stupid I get it. No one should feel unsafe,
But I think they need to talk about why they cut so many corners during the development process and why none of their games ever look current. And why they think all of this is okay while they charge full price.
Now to decide whether or not I feel like dealing with the GFWL hassle...
All of which you could have gotten last year for about the same price on Steam when Fallout: New Vegas was launched...
This is not what people meant by needing Microsoft to kick their GFWL deals up a notch. A 3 year-old game is still a 3-year old game. People are looking for deals on newer games as well as a much needed expanded library of games.
I have a tip for everyone who is looking for good digital deals. I always check 3 "sites". Those are:
STEAM. They often have daily deals, weekly deals and sometimes even so called "publisher deals" where they sell games really really cheap. In the last few weeks they have hade a few of those and I picked up Bioshock 1 & 2, GTA 1-4, Crysis & Crysis Warhead and so on. Check STEAM everyday for great deals!
www.gamersgate.com , A nice site that always have a deal on something. I have bought Metro 2033 and Torchlight from this one very cheap!
www.direct2drive.com , they have a lot of deals and often low price on many games. The process of downloading etc might be a little complicated, but their deals are always really nice. Like today, RIFT for 17.50£!
Check these sites regularly for great deals! You will be able to afford a lot of great games this way :) The deals I mention above is not available anymore, except the RIFT one which is only today. But watch these sites :)
No matter who you get this deal from...getting all the DLC + Fallout 3 is worth it. Easily over 75+ hours of content.
