TouchArcade: ReRave Review

TouchArcade: The first time I played Dance Dance Revolution, it was on Dreamcast. I didn't have a dance mat, so I used a controller. It wasn't quite the same experience, but it was still surprisingly fun. That's how it feels to play Step Evolution's first iOS release, ReRave [1.99]. It's like playing a dance game with your fingertips, and it doesn't lose much in translation.

ReRave is the New Music Game on the Block

With the recent decision to put a hold on the Guitar Hero series, many gamers have been lamenting the death of the music game genre. But what about those games that came before such as Dance Dance Revolution? What about the fun so many people had with peripheral-free games like Elite Beat Agents?

The company Step Evolution is looking to reinvigorate the rhythm and music gaming audience with the release of their new game ReRave. It's a game that looks to be a mix of Elite Beat Agents and DJ Max Technika for iOS devices (iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch) and soon after for Android and other platforms.
