PC Deals for April 1, 2017
Here are the best deals for this week
DSOGaming writes: "The latest PC UK retail, Steam Digital and Green Man Gaming charts have been revealed and as we can see, The Sims 4, ARK: Survival Evolved & Sniper Ghost Warrior 2 are this week’s best selling games in UK, on Steam and on GMG."
Rightfully so...
Except ARK is an early access, which either means it's either alpha or beta. Don't get me wrong! I'm looking forward to the game, it's on my wish list, but I will not pay money for something that is not fully complete.
Long gone are the days of "Free Beta."
Between City Interactive and Bethesda I cant figure out which company's games have more bugs...
I actually really liked the first one...
on pc the game looked AMAZING, easily better than any console game ever made and close to on par with crysis 1 in some spots, the sniping mechanics were very, very good. the story was b-movie cheese, the voice acting sub-par and the budget too low, hopefully they really crank the graphics for pc (the xbox360 version of part one looked ok for a console game but suffered from frame stutters, pop-in and low res textures,m hopefully they correct that on console too)
multiplayer was actually kinda kool
all in all, with a bigger budget, they could make something out of this game.
At least they picked a grand engine to display their game in. CryEngine 3.0 this time. :)
Bugs or no bugs at least there is an attempt to patch I assume. They will likely get better as these guys are playing it smart. They are still newbies to the development world. Give them a few more years. I bet we see flawless bugless titles. :)
Pfft yeah, like I give a crap. Why would they even make a sequel for this? They coulda spent the resources to make a good game, or world hunger.
